Providing safety education and activities to
help prevent farm-related injuries among youth

Progressive Agriculture Safety Day Foundation is recognized as the largest rural safety and health education initiative for children North America, offering engaging, age-appropriate lessons primarily for children aged 4 to 13.

 

The Livingston County Health Center is proud to collaborate with the Agriculture Safety Day Foundation to deliver valuable educational experiences to local youth. In the fall of 2024, 350 elementary students took part in this safety day event.​

Safety Day addresses topics such as:

Grain bin safety

Seat belts

Large equipment safety

Fire safety

Poison awareness

Home alone

Electric safety

Returning for 2025!

The Livingston County Health Center will host fourth graders from throughout the community in fall 2025.
