We strive to meet your child's health needs through programs addressing health education, nutrition, physical activity, development, immunizations, screenings and general health.

IMMUNIZATIONS The health center offers immunizations for adults and children at three regular monthly clinics, on a walk-in basis. Our office offers all immunizations as recommended by the State of Missouri Department of Health and some vaccinations that are not required. More...
WIC
WOMEN, INFANTS & CHILDREN (WIC) WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children. WIC provides foods that are especially important during pregnancy and growth. WIC is for lower to moderate income families, but is not a welfare program. Many working families can qualify for WIC. More...
Lead Testing
LEAD TESTING The Health Center offers free lead screening for Medicaid recipients through the Missouri Department of Health State Laboratory for children six years of age and under. A $10.00 fee is charged to those not on Medicaid. If your child is exposed to conditions that might make him at greater risk for lead poisoning, call the health department at 646-5506 to find out more.
CHILD CARE HEALTH CONSULTATION (CCHC) In collaboration with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Livingston County Health Center offers child care consultation and training to area child care providers.
Health Center nurses provide consultations regarding child health and safety issues at licensed and license-exempt child care homes, group homes, and centers such as Head Start. We also provide health promotion presentations for children in the facility.
The health center offers six inservices at no out of pocket cost to help child care providers achieve the 12 hours of continuing education credit required for state licensure.
